The tri-series in Kenya has now been confirmed - there had been some speculation that Ireland would face pressure from the Irish Government over facing Zimbabwe, but Cricket Ireland Chief Executive Warren Deutrom has confirmed that they've cleared the series with the Department of Foreign Affairs, and there are no problems with the series being played on neutral ground.
In seperate news, ZC have also released the itinerary for Sri Lanka's visit to the country in November. The tour will comprise one 4-day match, a 1-day tour match and 5 ODIs - full details on our Fixtures page.

Competitive series
lets all hope for a competitive series with close fought matches. I wonder if South African pay-tv channel Supersport of GTV will broadcast the games?
Should be...
Ireland are the best of the Associates and constantly trying to prove themselves, and having come very close to beating Zim at the World Cup they'll be wanting to go one better, so certainly the matches between those two should be well worth watching.
Kenya have been in poor form lately, but home advantage should level things for them a bit.
Cricket Kenya have a broadcast deal with Nimbus, so the series should be shown somewhere - just a matter of waiting to see who picks it up...
